Cook Stars Plymouth Central

At Cook Stars Plymouth Central, we are passionate about cooking and simply LOVE good food! Our mission is to share this love by teaching children and teenagers how to create their very own dishes from scratch. Whether it’s pre-school children, primary school kids, tweens, or teens, we are dedicated to offering engaging classes that inspire culinary creativity.

We also host special event workshops, birthday parties, and classes within schools and the community. Our sessions are designed to be accessible and affordable, providing fantastic value while ensuring that every child has a delightful experience. We take care of all the preparation, so our Cook Stars can focus on having fun! All ingredients, cooking equipment, aprons, packaging, and cooking know-how are provided. Plus, everyone takes home their lovely dish along with a recipe card to recreate at home. And yes, we even handle the clearing away and washing up!

In addition to our regular classes, we are proud to partner with various community groups, charities, and schools, creating opportunities for children to learn valuable cooking skills while giving back to the community. These collaborations not only enhance our offerings but also help foster a sense of belonging and teamwork among participants.

During our classes, there are plenty of opportunities to experiment with different preparation methods—like weighing, measuring, shape-cutting, decorating, and rolling. We learn about diverse ingredients, try new foods, and develop useful life skills. At Cook Stars Plymouth Central, we believe that the secret to enjoyable learning is through ‘play.’ Our classes are friendly, relaxed, and fun, with small class sizes to ensure personalised support and encouragement.

As a proud mum to my 12-year-old son, Jack, I’m thrilled to embark on this journey as the owner of Cook Stars Plymouth Central. Growing up, I was quite a fussy eater, so I understand the nervousness that can come with trying new foods. However, I also know the immense satisfaction of creating something from scratch that you genuinely want to eat. This transformative experience fueled my lifelong love of culinary arts, and there’s nothing that brings me more joy than gathering family and friends around the table to share delightful meals.

When Jack and I aren’t busy in the kitchen, you’ll find us on adventures in our campervan around Devon and Cornwall, or spending quality time with family and friends. I love exploring Plymouth’s vibrant food scene, discovering new places to indulge my passion for fine dining. Now, I’m excited to get more involved in the local community through Cook Stars Plymouth Central.

Cooking is a vital life skill that fosters healthy, balanced eating, especially when learned from a young age. I’m delighted to support you and your children on this culinary adventure. Let me handle the logistics—shopping, recipe planning, equipment, and clean-up—so you can simply come together and enjoy the experience.

I can’t wait to welcome you to the classes, workshops, and celebrations at Cook Stars Plymouth Central. Join us on this exciting journey, and let’s create delicious memories together!

Vikki Pethick Virtual Assistant

A Virtual Assistant is like a freelance Personal Assistant. Small and large business owners outsource all their necessary but time-consuming tasks like administration, so they have more time to focus on running their business. Virtual Assistants are becoming increasingly popular as they save their clients time and money. They just hire the Virtual Assistant as and when they need them, they only pay for the hours they work and they don’t need to go through all the trouble of hiring an employee. Alternatively, hours can be bought in advance to guarantee the Virtual Assistant’s time.

A Virtual Assistant is a great way for you to free up valuable time.
Is your current workload overwhelming?
Do you have more paperwork than you can handle?
Do you want to redirect how you use your time?
Do you have a one-off project you need support with?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then why not consider letting me support you by completing the tasks that use up your valuable time but won’t progress your business.

I was employed as a Personal Assistant for 13 years which provided me with a combination of high-level administrative skills. The ability to adapt my approach in line with who I am working with has been essential in maintaining a top-class service as well as always ensuring confidentiality and consistency.
